Turn coursework into a study session
Google added three study tools to Gemini Notebook. It can now generate a 60-second video about a difficult concept or build a step-by-step learning overview from notes, lectures, and readings.
The overview combines summaries with slides, quizzes, and flashcards grounded in the supplied coursework. New quiz options include short answers, multiple selections, and fill-in-the-blank questions, with feedback on where to focus next.
How Notion put an agent on repetitive setup
Notion used an internal agent to expand its catalog of app connections from 25 to 185 in about three weeks. Its account of the process offers builders a concrete example of automating a long workflow while reserving important decisions for people.
Each request moves across a Kanban board as the agent finds connection details, assists with test-account setup, checks that real data returns, and repeats verification in production. People still review every code change, approve new connections, test popular ones by hand, and handle partner discussions.
Notion also describes two corrections after problems surfaced. It added testing from a second account after a connection failed for outside customers, and split a long runbook into one page per transition after the agent skipped steps.
