What to expect
We start with a quick catch-up on what’s happening in AI. Then it opens up for casual show and tell and questions.
Nothing is polished. Most of what gets shown was built in an evening or two by someone who doesn’t write code for a living. If you have something to share, you can just open your laptop and talk us through it. You’re welcome to come listen, too.
How it started
AI Friday grew out of an internal Friday morning AI show and tell at Hello Gravel. We found the best way to learn was to see what others were doing, and we wanted to learn from more people. So we opened it up to the community.
Host or sponsor a meetup
Have access to a big room with Wi-Fi in the New Orleans area? We’d love to have you host. We average 25 to 35 people per meeting, and we can bring the projector.
You can also sponsor a meeting by providing coffee and pastries.
Email andrew@aifri.day if you’re interested in either, or join #meeting-krewe in the AI Friday Slack to talk about hosting.
Who organizes it
AI Friday is organized by a ragtag group of NOLA startup veterans who just wanna talk about AI and cool stuff.
If you’d like to help organize or have any questions, email andrew@aifri.day or join #meeting-krewe in the AI Friday Slack.
