GPT-6.1 Sol follow-up
OpenAI has upgraded GPT-6 Sol for writing and debugging code, understanding documents, and completing multi-step business workflows. The company says GPT-6.1 Sol approaches its more capable Astra model on several evaluations at substantially lower cost.
The model is available through the API and in ChatGPT Work and Codex for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu users. It is not yet available in regular Chat.
Always-on agents meet shared workspaces
OpenAI's DevDay recap introduces Dots, always-on agents intended to learn what matters to a user and handle ongoing responsibilities. Dots are available on Pro and Business Premium in eligible markets; Enterprise, Edu, and Healthcare workspaces can enter the beta when an admin enables it.
The same release adds ChatGPT Space, where teammates, ChatGPT, and a dot can work from shared knowledge. Space is available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise through desktop and web. Mobile supports finding, reading, and sharing pages, while creation and editing are still to come.
