Gemini at the pointer
Googlebook puts Gemini directly on the laptop through Magic Pointer and Rambler.
Magic Pointer can turn a marathon training plan on a web page into scheduled Google Calendar runs. Rambler can clean up dictated meeting notes and organize action items into bullets, including speech that switches languages mid-sentence.
That makes two familiar chores, planning a training schedule and untangling a verbal brain dump, possible without moving the material into a separate chat. Preorders are open from $899, with devices reaching U.S. shelves October 4.
Warp follow-up: Slack to visible quality assurance
Follow-up to Warp's earlier self-improving agent workflow: a new walkthrough from How I AI host Claire Vo and Warp demonstrates what happens around the agent run. A request in public Slack becomes a Linear issue, a GitHub pull request, and a quality-assurance pass.
The computer-use quality assurance produces a video of the completed feature and its keystrokes. Warp also demonstrates replaying past tasks to compare model cost and quality. Every pull request currently still receives human review.
The useful shift is from asking an agent to write code toward designing the whole handoff, including tracking and visible evidence of what it built.
