Claude Duet keeps working when you step away
Claude Duet is a proactive agent that checks connected apps, sends a morning brief, and continues assigned work after you step away. It asks for approval before sending a message, making a payment, signing a document, or deleting anything.
The research preview is opening by waitlist to U.S. Pro and Max subscribers. Duet is a separate app on iOS and Android and is also available through claude.ai; its background work shares the usage limits of your Claude plan.
AI helps find a PHP security flaw
OpenAI says GPT-5.6 Sol helped identify a critical flaw in PHP, a programming language used to run websites and web applications. PHP maintainers led the fixes and release, while OpenAI and security partners helped test fixes and prepare protections before disclosure.
OpenAI’s account of the coordinated response includes a PHP version checker released as a Codex skill. It can help operators identify potentially vulnerable PHP versions and determine which updates apply alongside guidance from PHP and their providers.
