Good morning, NOLA.

ChatGPT takes on the office file

ChatGPT Work can create or edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and analyses from instructions, source material, or an existing template. For recurring project briefs or weekly reports, a saved template can combine a reference file with reusable instructions.

It supports native Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides when the relevant Workspace app is enabled. On desktop, Codex can work with an open Excel workbook through the ChatGPT for Excel add-in. Availability varies by plan, workspace settings, file type, and surface, and PowerPoint is not part of the desktop Work flow at launch.

Notion agents get more room to work

Notion is a workspace tool where agents can find context and create material people can share. Notion rebuilt its agents with their own computer and browser, improved context management, and a review mode with safety checks. They can now work on tasks for up to 24 hours.

A new Auto router chooses among models based on quality, speed, and cost. People can connect a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Go plan to a personal Notion Agent, while Bring Your Own Key is in private alpha for Enterprise customers. A forthcoming command center will let teams inspect usage and set spending limits and alerts.
